XtraSpace Self Storage is in the process of enlarging its Durban presence with the opening of a second facility. XtraSpace Self Storage Berea, at 40 Khuzimphi Shezi Road (formerly Williams Rd) has been a great success, giving us confidence for the next one. XtraSpace thus acquired the old Toys R Us building at 99 Chris Hani Rd (Formerly North Coast Rd), Durban North.

XtraSpace Self Storage Durban North will focus on the Durban North area with its strong mix of residential and commercial customers – many of which are looking for flexible storage solutions. Easy access to King Shaka International Airport, the port and container terminals at Bayhead makes our location appealing. Mr Price and RTT are locating new warehousing facilities to the same area, so we’re in good company!
What’s in the Box?
The newly refurbished facility will include a Business Centre wing with Flexi Offices, meeting room and hot desk facilities, with free Wi-Fi Internet throughout. Furthermore, the facility will include a courier depot, operated by our subsidiary Parceljet Couriers.
A total of 600 units will be available on completion, with unit sizes ranging from 3 m² – 70 m². XtraSpace Self Storage will be opening its doors in October 2013.
